Our Role as a Processor of Information
Farvision acts as a processor of information provided by our customers. As a customer (Builder, Developer, Facility Management Company or Owners Association) using our app, you become the controller of end-user data. The onus of taking consent of the end-users lies with the controller of the information. It's crucial for our customer, who might be the Builder, Developer, Facility Management Company or Owners Association to exercise caution when collecting, retaining, and deleting end-user information.
What we do with your information
We act as the processor of information, the onus lies on our customer-who might be a builder in most cases- for the Identification, Retention and Deletion of end-user data.
In general, using our site as a site visitor may be considered anonymous: we do not engage in any activity that will personally identify our site visitors.
Mobile Applications
When you download, install and use our Mobile Applications, we automatically collect information on the type of device you use, operating system version, and the device token and user identification information so that we can send notifications to you.
We use mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our Mobile Application on your mobile or handheld device. This Mobile Application may record information such as how often you use the Mobile Application, the events that occur within the Mobile Application, aggregated usage, performance data, and where the Mobile Application was downloaded from. We do not link the information we store within the analytics software to any personally identifiable information you submit within the Mobile Application.
Collection of Information for Attendance Verification
Our Mobile application collects the following information using the TrueDepth API: Using Azure Cognitive Services Facial Recognition API to read data from the TrueDepth camera, the app is collecting information for face image data for attendance verification.
Purpose of collecting the information
For attendance verification the face image is being captured. This data (face verification) will be used for attendance checks only for users of the Farvision Pay mobile app – they can be our internal employees or employees of our clients who are using our mobile apps. Mobile apps are part of our Farvision ERP value added services.
Collection of Information via QR Codes
At Gamut, we value your privacy and are committed to safeguarding your personal information. This privacy policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect data obtained through QR codes during our use of the app.
Purpose of Data Collection:
- We collect contact details such as name, phone number, email address through a visitor form to generate a QR code.
- The purpose of the QR code is to make check-in or entry process for permitted visitor faster, and avoid re-entering of data by security/gate keeper team.
User Data
1. Personal and Sensitive User Data
Personal and sensitive user data encompasses a wide range of information, including but not limited to, personally identifiable details, financial and payment data, authentication credentials, device location, inventory of other apps on the device, camera data, and other sensitive device or usage information. When our app handles personal and sensitive user data, we adhere to the following principles:
Secure Handling: We ensure all personal and sensitive user data is handled securely, including using modern cryptographic methods (e.g., HTTPS) for data transmission.
Runtime Permissions: We request runtime permissions whenever available, before accessing data that requires Android permissions.
- Location Access: Current location for geo-tracking and geo-fencing for employee
- File Permission: This permission is needed to download files to a specific folder and share them with other applications to forward to other users.
- Image Permission: This permission is required to capture and/or download images to a specific folder and share them with other applications only.
- Notification Access: We use notifications to keep users updated about news, updates, or notices.
2. Prominent Disclosure & Consent Requirement
When our apps access, collect, use, or shares personal and sensitive user data in ways that might not align with user expectations (such as background data collection when the app isn’t actively being used), we take the following steps to ensure transparency and compliance:
Consent and Runtime Permissions: We seek explicit in-app user consent and runtime permissions, accompanied by clear in-app disclosures that meet policy standards. Our consent process includes:
- Clear Presentation: The consent dialog is presented in a straightforward and understandable manner.
- Affirmative Action: Users must take clear action to give consent, such as tapping to accept or check a box.
- No Implicit Consent: Navigating away from the disclosure (e.g., tapping away or pressing the back or home button) is not considered as giving consent.
- Post-Consent Data Handling: We only collect or access personal and sensitive user data after obtaining explicit user consent.
DISCLOSURE
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
We will share personal information outside of Gamut if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:

- Enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations.

Sharing of the information
No, this data will not be shared with any third parties other than our clients whose employees are users of the mobile app.
Retention of the information
This information will be stored on the local server. The data is not deleted as it is stored for verification which may be required in the future.
Only For Mobile Application
We delete attendance face data (transaction data) every two month and user's registered face data (master data) is deleted when requested by the HR.
Marketing Communication
We collect personal information from our visitors on a voluntary basis so that we can approach them for the marketing and sales of our products and services. Personal information may include name, title, company, address, phone number, email address, and other relevant data. If you provide your personal details it is a permission that we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.
When you purchase something from our website, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
CONSENT
Receiving of consent
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

If you are our customer, we cannot delete your record from our database.
